Goring and Streatley Shop Questionnaire Responses

You may recall from previous issues of the Goring Gap News (GGN) and other various sources, that Tesco are planning to open a Tesco Express on the site of the Queen’s Arms near the railway station in Goring.

In order to assess the impact of this proposal upon the communities, especially the traders, you were invited to individually complete a questionnaire in the February Issue of the GGN and return it by hand or by post to Swift Ink, The Arcade, High Street, Goring-on-Thames, RG8 9AY, by Sunday 9th March 2014.

The results of this questionnaire were published in the May 2014 Issue of the GGN, on page 37. The results are also published here, showing the number of boxes ticked.

A total of 298 people replied.  Please note that some questions were not ticked and some people provided more than one tick to some questions. Further analysis may be provided on this website if requested or deemed relevant. The same figures are presented as percentages on the next page.

Thank you, on behalf of the Goring Gap Business Network.
